1. Community visit exposure for nursing students
Conducted training course on Community (Rural and Urban) exposure visit for nursing students from renowned nursing schools, like, Calcutta Nursing Training Institute, ESI Nursing Training Centre- Maniktala, ESI Nursing Training School- Sealdah, Islamia Hospital School of Nursing, Mission of Mercy School of Nursing, Bharat Sevashram Nursing Training School. During this training course nursing students acquire knowledge regarding Government system and services available to the community, basic concept of nutrition, reproductive and child health care services, School health programme etc. They also get an exposure to community through Anganwadi centre visit, Under Five clinic, Block Primary Health Centre, Primary health centre, Sub-Centre, Shanti TB Control Society visit, Panchayat office visit, Old age home visit etc. They provided health talk and also organized programme like drama, rally, puppet show etc to create awareness to the community (Rural and Urban) people.
2. Training on Nutrition and Dietetics
Conducted training on Nutrition and Dietetics for the students of Food and Nutrition of Gokhale Memorial Girls College, Durgapur Para Medical College and Prasanta Chandra Mahalanabish (PCM) College with Specialized activities and skill development, including antropometric measurement, Growth monitoring, calculation of BMI, dietary survey through recall method, etc. They got an exposure to the community through Anganwadi centre visit, under five clinic visit etc. They delivered health talk to the people of community and arranged community awareness programme through drama to aware people of rural community.
3. Staffs Capacity Building of CINI and CCRC on Health, Nutrition, Protection Education and Life skills.
