Community health exposure visit to the GNM nursing students: Since 2000 CINI Chetana Resource Centre provides support in community health exposure visit to the GNM nursing students. CCRC had started its journey with only one nursing college and that was ‘Calcutta Nursing Training School (CNTI). The objectives of this training programme are to enhance the knowledge of the participants about the health and nutritional situation of the rural area and to get an exposure on services of the rural community. Most of the nursing students are come from the different districts of our State and after completion of their GNM training course they all are willing to join as GNM nurse in the Government block level health structure. For this purpose they really need a proper exposure to the rural health structure. Right now CCRC provides Rural Community Health Exposure for students from renowned nursing schools (ESI, Calcutta Nursing Training Institute, Islamia School of Nursing, Bharat SevashramSangha, Guwahati Regional Nursing College, Mission of Marcy and etc.). Every year CCRC reaches more than 450 nursing students.
