Life Skill

The training on Life Skills aims to strengthen participants’ abilities in self-awareness, self-esteem, communication, decision-making, problem-solving, critical thinking, stress management, leadership, and interpersonal relationships. It supports personal development and promotes positive behaviour and resilience in daily life.

SRHR (Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights)

This training focuses on sexual and reproductive health, puberty, adolescent development, gender equality, sexuality, reproductive rights, menstrual health, prevention of early marriage, gender-based violence, and access to health services and information.

IYCF (Infant and Young Child Feeding)

The training enhances knowledge on infant and young child nutrition, early initiation of breastfeeding, exclusive breastfeeding, complementary feeding, age-appropriate nutrition, feeding during illness, and growth monitoring to promote healthy child development.

Maternal Health

This training covers maternal nutrition, antenatal care, postnatal care, birth preparedness, and danger signs during pregnancy, safe motherhood practices, maternal mental health, and access to maternal healthcare services.

NBC (New-born Care)

The training focuses on essential new-born care practices including immediate new-born care, breastfeeding support, thermal care, cord care, immunization, hygiene, and early identification and referral of new-born complications.

WASH (Water, Sanitation and Hygiene)

This training aims to improve knowledge on safe drinking water, sanitation practices, personal hygiene, menstrual hygiene management, hand washing, waste management, infection prevention, and community-based hygiene promotion.

Growth Monitoring and Promotion

The training provides practical understanding of child growth assessment, use of growth charts, nutrition counselling, identification of malnutrition, referral systems, and promotion of healthy growth and development.

Community Mobilization

This training strengthens participants’ skills in community engagement, participation, leadership, advocacy, behaviour change communication, awareness generation, and mobilizing communities for collective action and development initiatives.

Child Protection

The training enhances understanding of child rights, child protection systems, safeguarding mechanisms, prevention of abuse, neglect, violence, exploitation, child marriage, and creating child-friendly environments.

Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace

The session focuses on awareness of workplace safety, prevention of sexual harassment, legal provisions under the POSH Act, complaint mechanisms, responsibilities of institutions, and creating gender-sensitive workplaces.

Communicable Disease

This training covers awareness and prevention of communicable diseases, modes of transmission, infection prevention and control, vaccination, hygiene practices, early detection, and community health promotion.

Communication and Counselling

The training develops effective communication skills, active listening, empathy, counselling techniques, interpersonal relationships, conflict management, and supportive communication for community and programme implementation.
